Computer/ITqualification. Thecandidatemustpossesscomputerproficiencyand. Hindi/Englishtyping/CPCT qualification as prescribed under the applicable CEDMAP/College rules. DESIRABLEQUALIFICATIONIF REQUIRED Graduation with DCA/PGDCA or another recognized Computer/IT qualification; proficiencyinMSWord,MSExcel,dataentry,electronicrecordmaintenance,data compilationandreportpreparation.

Candidateshavinganeducationalbackground in Science/Life Sciences, basic training in laboratory practices, biosafety or biomedical-waste management, or previous exposure to a clinical, diagnostic, research or public-health laboratory shall be preferred. EXPERIENCE Relevant experience in computer operations, data entry, electronic database maintenance and handling of laboratory, research, hospital or public-health surveillance data is desirable.

Experience in sample accessioning, labelling/barcoding, maintenance of sample and reagent records, inventory documentation,reporttrackingorothernon-analyticallaboratory-supportactivities shall be preferred. ROLEAND RESPONSIBILITY

• Enterandverifypatient,sample,testandsurveillancedataaccuratelyand within prescribed timelines.
• Maintainelectronicdatabases,laboratoryregisters,testrecordsand project/office documentation.
• Compiledataandprepareroutinesummaries,tables,correspondenceand surveillance reports using MS Word and MS Excel.
• Maintainconfidentiality,dataintegrity,versioncontrolandsecurebackupof authorized records.
• Assistintrackingsamples/reportsandperformotherrelateddata- management orofficetasksassignedbythenodal officer.
• Assistthe. Laboratory. Technicianinsamplereceipt,verification,accessioning, labelling/barcoding,recordmaintenanceandmovementofsampleswithinthe laboratory.
• Assist in maintaining sample, reagent and consumable inventories; temperaturelogs;equipment-userecords;testworksheetsandother laboratory documentation.
• Provide non-analytical pre- and post-testing support under the direct supervisionofthe. Laboratory. Technician/Nodal. Officer,afterreceiving appropriate biosafety and task-specific training.
• Supportpackaging,documentationanddispatchofsamplesorreportsin accordance with approved SOPs and biosafety requirements.
• Perform other laboratory-support activities assigned by the Nodal Officer that areconsistentwiththecandidate’squalification,trainingandauthorizedscope of work.
• The Data Entry Operator shall not independently undertake clinical sample processing, nucleic-acid extraction, PCR/Real-Time RT-PCR testing, result interpretationorauthorizationunlessspecificallyqualified,trainedandformally authorized by the competent authority.
