Lakeside Health is seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Spine & Pain Management team in Bullhead City, Arizona.

Lakeside Health is a growing, multi-specialty healthcare organization offering Orthopedic Surgery, Spine & Pain Management, and Physical Therapy services. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced medical environment, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, and can work independently while supporting our physicians and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories. Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures. Prepare examination rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR). Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, imaging, and follow-up care.

Assist with prescription refill requests and patient communications under provider direction. Prepare patients for pain management procedures and assist with clinical workflows. Maintain medical supplies, inventory, and equipment. Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, providers, and coworkers. Support daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred. Experience in Spine, Pain Management, Orthopedics, or a specialty medical practice is a plus. Familiarity with electronic medical records and medical terminology. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical setting.

Dependable, professional, and able to work independently. Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
