Groundskeeper

Groundskeeper’s Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club We are looking to add team-oriented individuals with a passion for the game of golf and course management. These positions require a positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work with the team as well as work alone, and willingness to want to learn all aspects of golf maintenance.

The groundskeeper positions assist the course maintenance staff in day-to-day operations, performs daily course maintenance responsibilities to a high level and incorporates safe work practices in job performance. The potential candidates would be capable of following instructions as given and would adopt the “culture” of the department in behavior, work ethic and appearance.

Our team puts a lot of effort into creating a unique development plan to enhance each team member's skills and focus on work- life balance as a key component. The Groundskeepers will work 40 hours a week with every other weekend off. Groundskeeper 1 Entry Level position to employees new to the Golden Ocala with no golf course experience Ability / Willingness to learn new tasks and operate different types of equipment as required Expected to operate all equipment at a high level once trained Ability to provide the extra level of detail / cleanliness from the shop area to the golf course Passion for continuous learning Groundskeeper 2 Should have experience as a laborer with appropriate grasp of golf course conditions and standards.

Basic knowledge of equipment used on golf courses and for golf course maintenance. This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude who thrives in a culture that encourages individuals to make decisions independently and learn how to use their time productively. Must have a TEAM mentality.
