Accounting Specialist

Southern Champion Tray, a busy manufacturing company based in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking an addition to its corporate accounting staff. POD / BILLING SPECIALIST JOB PURPOSE: This position is responsible for accurate and timely calculation, processing, and recording of high volume POD credits and billing functions. POD PROCESS RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviews, sorts, and verifies POD reports received daily from customers Verifies customer purchases and payments; working with customers regarding discrepancies Reviews and verifies customer payments made Issues POD credit memos Works closely with Accounting, Customers, Sales, and Management when questions arise and approval amounts are required BILLING RESPONSIBILITIES: Workis with and shares daily responsibilities of invoicing and credits for Chattanooga distribution Invoices

• Daily processing and preparing of invoices for mailing; involves reviewing status of orders shipped and verifying accuracy of calculations Credits
