Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Child & Adolescent

Kids First is a growing multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic in Rockland County, NY, providing comprehensive services including behavioral health, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health team and provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management services for children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up care Develop individualized treatment recommendations in collaboration with families and treatment teams Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and other pediatric providers to ensure coordinated care Provide psychoeducation and support to parents/caregivers Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Qualifications: Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in New York State Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively Compassionate, family-centered approach to care What We Offer: Flexible schedule with part-time or full-time opportunities Supportive multidisciplinary clinical environment Collaboration with experienced behavioral health clinicians and pediatric specialists Competitive compensation based on experience and schedule Location: Monsey, NY (Rockland County)
