3rd Shift Threading Operator

Threading Operator Location: Berne, IN, 46711 Threading Operator Key Fasteners Corporation is an industry leader in the cold-formed fastener manufacturing sector, with a focus on serving the automotive industry. Our 120,000 sq. ft. facility located in Berne, Indiana produces nuts, bolts, pins, rivets, and engine-critical components.

Our fasteners are utilized in a range of vehicles across the globe, playing a crucial role in securing everything from engines to frames, wheel and brake systems, and beyond. Our fasteners have earned the trust of numerous OEM's both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Setup and operate a variety of thread rolling machines to produce quality products. Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance. Use scales, microscopes, micrometers, calipers and fixed gages to check and gage work. Load and unload product in the process using a forklift Must be able to read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions Starts machine, observes operation, inspect first run and sample work pieces to ensure part conforms to specifications.

Remove and install specified tooling at changeovers and make all necessary adjustments.
