3-Month Contract with a Local Authority Umbrella Rate: £24.21 per hour umbrella Summary We are seeking a Joiner-Multi Trade professional to deliver an innovative, efficient, and flexible maintenance service. You will carry out joinery and multi-trade installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs for managed properties while ensuring high levels of customer excellence.

Responsibilities

Carry out Joinery/Multi Trade installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs in managed properties. Coordinate the services of other trades and work with colleagues, contractors, and partners to ensure a seamless service. Manage stock and supplies efficiently to ensure works are not delayed. Complete and return documentation within agreed timescales, updating manual and computerised records.

Identify efficiencies and gaps in service delivery, communicating them to line management. Ensure all activities are discharged safely in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, minimizing risk at all times. Provide relief cover for colleagues and emergency cover if required for business continuity. Experience Extensive, demonstrable post-qualification experience in the joinery trade.

Demonstrable recent experience of undertaking multi-trade works (e.g., plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting). Demonstrable success delivering a variable workload in a customer-focused, target-driven service. Understanding and experience of working to current Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications

NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in the joinery trade (e.g., City & Guilds). Ability to use computerised data recording equipment. Additional Information Working hours: 37 hours per week DBS required. Driving licence required. This is an on-site role based in Nottingham We work on a biweekly payment schedule.
