Sr. Accountant

Execute month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities aligned with corporate deadlines and internal controls. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and variance analyses for regulatory accounts. Research complex regulatory accounting transactions and resolve discrepancies. Maintain audit‑ready documentation and regulatory balance tracking to support compliance requirements. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at the Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant level. SAP expertise and comfort operating in large, matrixed organizations. Prior experience in regulated industry accounting—utilities, energy, government, or similar. Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines independently, with proven analytical rigor and documentation accuracy. A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset—someone who blends manager‑level judgment with hands‑on execution and thrives in transformation environments.
