The Role As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the Executive Sous Chef and Senior Sous Chef in managing the day-to-day kitchen operation at White Orchid, ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

You will help lead the team, maintain culinary standards, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. What You'll Be Doing Support the daily operation of the kitchen and ensure efficient service delivery. Prepare and present authentic Chinese and Thai dishes to the highest standards. Ensure consistency in food quality, flavour, presentation, and portion control.

Assist in supervising, training, and motivating the culinary team. Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation. Monitor stock levels, food preparation, and kitchen productivity. Support menu execution and ensure quality across all service periods. Assist with training and developing junior culinary team members.

Work closely with colleagues to create memorable guest experiences.

What You'll Bring

Chinese or Thai nationality. Culinary Degree or recognised 3-year culinary certification. Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate and Culinary Diploma. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or resort environment. Strong knowledge of authentic Chinese and/or Thai cuisine. Good understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.

Intermediate computer skills. Fluent English communication skills. A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and passion for culinary excellence.
