Job description

MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN III At WARN , we build products made to take on the toughest terrain out there. That takes more than great equipment. It takes highly skilled people who know how to troubleshoot problems, dial in processes, and keep production moving. We’re looking for a Manufacturing Technician III who knows machining inside and out and isn’t afraid to take the lead when things get complicated.

If you’re the person people call when a machine isn’t running right, a setup needs to be better, or a process needs to be figured out, this could be your next career move. WHAT YOU’LL DO This isn’t an entry-level technician role. You’ll be a technical leader on the floor, tackling complex manufacturing challenges while helping make our equipment, processes, and people better.

Lead complex troubleshooting and optimization to keep equipment and production running at their best. Design and refine MCAM programs to improve machining efficiency, consistency, and part quality. Own the creation, refinement, and validation of setup sheets and production documentation . Work side-by-side with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve processes and solve production challenges.

Help bring new products from development into production. Support the selection, startup, and implementation of new capital equipment . Read and interpret advanced prints, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) . Use advanced inspection techniques to verify parts and make sure quality standards are met.

Mentor junior technicians , share your knowledge, and help build technical capability across the team. Be one of the go-to technical resources when the easy answer isn’t good enough. WHAT YOU BRING We’re looking for someone who has spent serious time around machining and manufacturing equipment and knows how to turn that experience into results.

Required: High school diploma or GED. Associate degree in a technical field such as CNC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline . 5–7 years of manufacturing experience with strong machining and MCAM knowledge. Proficiency in MCAM programming and CNC operation . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL HERE You don’t just know how to run equipment. You understand why it runs the way it does. You’re someone who: Attacks problems instead of working around them. Knows the difference between getting a machine running and getting it running right . Can move between the machine, the print, the program, and the inspection equipment without missing a beat.

Takes ownership of documentation and process consistency. Works well with operators, technicians, engineers, and leadership. Shares knowledge instead of keeping it to yourself. Takes pride in making better parts, better processes, and a stronger team . THE WORK This role works across both shop and office environments .

You’ll spend time at a computer programming and documenting processes, but you’ll also be out on the floor working directly with equipment and production teams. You’ll use equipment and systems including CNC machines, manual machines, CAD, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, inspection equipment, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment .

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? Here’s what you can expect: 3 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) – Because work-life balance matters. Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance – Comprehensive coverage for you and your family. Short-Term & Long-Term Disability – Support when life throws you a curveball. 401(k) Retirement Plan – With company match to help you build for the future.
