Shipper/Receiver

Jenike & Johanson is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Facilities Coordinator in their Tyngsboro, MA office. The coordinator will be responsible for shipping, receiving and facilities to support our laboratory and office.

Responsibilities

Responsible for shipping and receiving a wide variety of test samples and equipment both domestically and internationally. Record all incoming and outgoing shipments in LIMS software Tag, store incoming sample as well as pack, prepare and arrange shipment to return samples Prepare all shipping paperwork (packing list, commercial invoice, carnets, etc.)

Arrange for shipment of equipment and exhibit booth materials for trade shows to/from client or venue site Work with import brokers to coordinate international shipments Maintain 5S philosophy of loading dock, sample storage areas and unfinished warehouse Assist techs with moving lab equipment as needed Routine ordering and stocking of laboratory supplies Coordination for facility maintenance with external contractors Address facility concerns/complaints Light office maintenance as required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years’ experience in shipping and receiving environment DOT shipping certification preferred Proficient with systems (LIMS/LETS) Prior experience HAZMAT handling and disposal Knowledge of SDS is a plus Process orientated and able to follow through process end-to-end, while being able to identify concerns with procedures Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail Excellent written and verbal communication Capable of using hand power tools Moving, bending, pushing and lifting capability up to 50 pounds (with equipment assistance) Valid US Driver’s License Salary Range: $26.

00 - $28.00 hourly based on experience.
