Radiology Technologist

POSITION PURPOSE The Radiologist Technologist position is responsible for using medical imaging equipment to create pictures of a patient#s body, which allows doctors to diagnose and treat injuries and diseases. # MINIMUM MANDATORY qualifications Experience: # EDUCATION: One (1) year experience and knowledge of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Computer Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) An Associate#s Degree from an accredited school or college program in Radiology Technology is required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Current State of New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program Licensure (NMMIRT) Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Basic Life Support (BLS) # Preferred qualifications One (1) year of Radiology Experience
