Welder / Fabricator

We’re hiring Welders / Fabricators to fabricate high-quality metal parts, subassemblies, and finished products in a production manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on welding role where you’ll work from blueprints and work instructions, position and secure metal components, adjust welding equipment, complete welds in multiple positions, and inspect your work to make sure it meets quality standards.

You’ll also use grinders and other finishing tools, operate overhead cranes to position parts, and work across different production areas as needed. What makes this role great: Hands-On Welding Work: Spend your shift actively welding, fitting, grinding, and assembling metal components Multiple Welding Positions: Gain experience welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions Production Variety: Work on different parts, subassemblies, and finished products across multiple production areas Opportunity to Grow: Cross-train across the operation and build broader manufacturing experience Certification-Based Role: Candidates will complete and maintain a Welder Qualification Test Job Details: Hiring on 1st and 2nd shift $21-26/hr based on experience and shift Full time, direct hire Requirements Responsibilities Perform production welding on metal parts and assemblies Complete welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Position, fit, and secure components prior to welding Adjust welding equipment and machine settings as needed Measure parts to ensure they meet specifications Clean and finish completed welds using: Grinders Wire wheels Needle guns Heat and form metal components when required Operate overhead cranes to safely move and position parts Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy Cross-train and assist in different production areas Follow all safety, PPE, housekeeping, and 6S procedures Qualifications Required Comfortable wearing a standard welding helmet for extended periods Ability to read basic work instructions and follow production procedures Ability to use basic measuring tools Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment Reliable attendance Ability to work overtime when production demands require it Preferred 1+ year of welding experience Previous manufacturing or production welding experience Welding certification from an accredited institution Blueprint reading experience Experience welding in multiple positions Experience operating overhead cranes Experience with weld cleanup and finishing tools
