Server – Hillcrest Health & Rehab Location: Bellevue, NE Address: 1702 Hillcrest Drive, Bellevue, NE 68005 Service Line: Hillcrest Health & Rehab Schedule: Part-time Evenings Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for friendly, dependable, and service-focused Servers to join our culinary team at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE.

Hillcrest Health & Rehab provides skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care in a supportive environment focused on helping residents and guests recover, maintain independence, and feel comfortable and cared for. As a Server, you will help bring that mission to life by creating an enjoyable dining experience, providing attentive service, and making residents and guests feel welcomed every time they come to the table.

What You’ll Do As a Server , you will work closely with residents, guests, and the culinary team to provide friendly, efficient, and personalized dining service. You will: Greet residents and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Take meal orders tableside using an iPad or other ordering system. Ensure meal selections follow prescribed diets and texture requirements.

Learn the menu and assist residents and guests with questions about available selections. Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner. Help create a positive and enjoyable dining experience. Set up and reset dining-room tables before and after meal service. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment.

Clean and sanitize dining-room and kitchen areas as assigned. Assist with dishes, silverware, glasses, pots, pans, and other food-service equipment. Maintain appropriate dining-room supplies and par levels for service. Complete required food-service temperature logs before and after meal service. Ensure food items are properly labeled, dated, stored, and rotated.

Follow established food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and chemical-handling procedures. Assist with additional culinary responsibilities as needed. Jump in wherever needed to help meal service run smoothly. Dependability and consistent follow-through. Strong attention to detail. Ability to stay organized during busy meal periods. Comfort using technology such as tablets or electronic ordering systems. Ability to follow dietary instructions and food-service procedures carefully. A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Ability to work effectively as part of a culinary team. Comfort working in a fast-paced dining environment. A genuine interest in serving aging adults.

Education

& Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous restaurant, serving, dining-room, hospitality, or food-service experience preferred. Physical & Other Requirements Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds. Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift. Must be flexible and calm when responding to resident, guest, family, or team needs.

Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced dining environment. Must be able to utilize technology and available resources efficiently and effectively. Must follow established food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and chemical-handling procedures. Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
