Systems Software Engineer - Object Storage

With over 45 years of innovation, Quantum's end-to-end platform is uniquely equipped to orchestrate, protect, and enrich data across its lifecycle, providing intelligence and actionable insights. This is a chance to build deep expertise in large-scale object storage from the ground up, as part of a new engineering team in Centennial. You'll contribute to ActiveScale's I/O pipeline across S3 request handling, data placement, and data movement between storage tiers. You'll learn from senior engineers and grow toward owning components yourself. You'll report to the Software Engineering Manager / Product Owner. This is a hands-on systems role for engineers looking to deepen their expertise in low-latency code paths, high concurrency, and distributed systems correctness at scale.
