MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Position Summary: Demonstrates proficiency in the use/operation of respiratory equipment and provision of respiratory treatment to assigned age specific patient population (e.

g. infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics) and participates in related continuing education. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Graduate from an AMA, CoARC or JRCRTE approved Respiratory Therapy program Preferred Education Associate Degree in Respiratory Care Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications Must possess excellent assessment skills to floor therapy and patients on mechanical ventilators.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
