Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform functional and automated testing for legacy and web-based applications to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Selenium or similar tools for web and API layers.
- Validate business workflows and system integrations through comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and product teams to align testing efforts with project goals.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, execution reports, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Stay informed about emerging tools and best practices to enhance testing efficiency.
- Adapt between automation and functional testing based on project needs, ensuring flexibility and thorough coverage Requirements Requirements Minimum of 5 years of progressively complex experience in software engineering or related fields.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA with strong expertise in Selenium/Playwright automation and functional testing.
- Proficiency in Java, Python for automation scripting.
- Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Insomnia).
- Strong knowledge of test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, PyTest).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SQL/No Sql databases.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
