Project Engineer Specialist

Provides a full range of productivity services to Operations and direct cost reduction programs for the facility, implementing and measuring facility process and developing and delivering continuous improvement training programs for the facility.

• Directs disciplines of best business practices implementation.
• Generates cost reduction opportunities and implement process improvement to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Assists with the implementation of Manufacturing Playbook and coordinates the progression.
• Develops and maintains performance (KPI) visuals.
• Develops a waste analysis for all lines.
• Leads and coordinates 5S initiatives plant-wide. Job Description
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
• Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.
• Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team.
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
• Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
• Creating frameworks to measure the project metrics and data collection.
• Establishing field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those test
• Comply with all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities and QRMP operating procedures.
• Responsible for the implementation of ISO 22000 in the plant area.
• Flexibility to adjust schedule to work with employees from all shifts as required.
• Works overtime as necessary.
