Senior Planning Engineer

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for utilizing advanced planning software and technologies to develop comprehensive programs of work, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and Monitoring, controlling, and reporting of the projects' progress, EVM, cash flow, and interfaces between them. Prepares the program of works using latest planning software and technologies to ensure that the contracts’ requirements are met.

Prepares the resource loading program. Monitors site activities throughout the construction process and updates the program of works. Issues look ahead schedule. Review of Subcontractor baseline schedules in accordance with the Scheduling Manual and project controls standards. Prepares and submits the KPIs and monthly reports for client and / or management.

Analyses existing project delays and assesses potential claims. Identifies the potential delays and recommends avoidance strategies. Identifies critical activities or potential areas of concern. Coordinates with Project Management team as necessary Prepares recovery program in co-ordination with Project Manager if there is any delay in critical activity and submits for client review and approval.

Prepares and submit the Extension of time claim. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture Minimum 10 years in construction within UAE / GCC. Proven experience in working on large projects for a reputed organization.
