Facilities Associate

Position Description: This position is responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the facilities process. Under general supervision, the Facilities Technician provides support for all maintenance related needs throughout the company.

Responsibilities

Assisting with general cleaning of the facility, [i.e. vacuuming and sweeping of floors, cleaning of ceiling tiles and air conditioning vents, window cleaning interior and exterior etc.] Cleaning and restocking of restrooms and breakrooms. Other various cleaning duties as required (including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, washing, polishing and dusting floors, carpet, walls, windows, and doors; trash removal; cleaning restrooms; stairwells, offices and other areas).

Assisting Facilities Department staff with projects as needed. Helps to maintains adequate custodial supply stocks. Assists and serves as back up to other Facilities employees.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED. je At least two years of verifiable experience (three or more highly desirable) maintaining various building interiors and exteriors.

Required Skills

Comfortable with cleaning fluids Comfortable with the use of a 6’ ladder Lifting 30 – 40 pounds occasionally Familiarity with hand and battery powered tools would be helpful but not necessary. Limited to professional working proficiency in English is required. Qualities and Characteristics Must be team oriented. Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable.

Must have great attention to detail. Must provide services to others and work with co-workers in a friendly environment.
