Substitute General Cafeteria Worker

Join the Substitute Cafeteria Worker pool! Substitutes provide support to the Food Services Department team on an as-needed basis when regular employees are absent. Substitutes may serve in day-to-day, short-term, or long-term assignments, and locations include the High School, middle schools, and elementary schools. Shifts vary in length between 3.

5 and 6 hours per day. Advanced scheduling often available. Rate: $17.57 per hour for the 2026-2027 school year. No experience necessary, but general knowledge of food and customer service, including the safe handling of perishable and non-perishable foods, is helpful. This is a good opportunity to make your own casual work schedule, with daytime assignments.
