Brazing
Job description
Brazing is a metal-joining process where two metals are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joint. At Arch Cutting Tools - Orchard Park we use two different methods of brazing; Induction and Vacuum Furnace Brazing.
Operators will be trained on how to operate Induction Braze Units and Vacuum Braze Furnaces to adhere diamond cutting tips (PCD-PCBN) to precision cutting tools.
