Join Our Team as a Lead Child Care Assistant! Join the Bennington Public Schools Foundation's All Star Kids Program as a Lead Child Care Assistant, where you'll help supervise and engage children in fun, developmentally appropriate activities. This part-time position offers flexible hours and is perfect for those with childcare experience looking to make a positive impact in a school setting.

Pay: Starts at $16.00/hr Hours Available: 6:15am-8:15am & 2:45pm-6:00pm Monday

Make an Impact – Help support and guide children in a fun, engaging environment Key Responsibilities: Supervise and engage with children in various school-aged childcare activities. Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum. Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment. Communicate effectively with parents, school staff and team members.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Follow emergency procedures and respond to issues promptly. Support the site directors in managing behavior, incidents, and reports. Actively participate in activities and provide positive guidance to children.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required Must have reliable transportation to and from work in Bennington, NE Prior experience working in a childcare setting is preferred Must complete Nebraska Child Abuse & Neglect Registry, Nebraska Adult Abuse Central Registry, and a background check.
