Easterseals Redwood is looking for a compassionate, energetic Assistant Teacher to support children in a nurturing, inclusive early childhood classroom. In this role, you will partner with Lead Teachers to provide high-quality care, support engaging learning experiences, and encourage each child’s growth through play, exploration, and positive relationships.

What You'll Do

As part of our team, you will: Create fun, engaging learning experiences that spark curiosity and encourage children to learn through play. Support each child's cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development while celebrating their unique strengths and abilities.
Build a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. Partner with Lead Teachers and fellow team members to bring creative lesson plans and hands-on activities to life. Build trusting relationships with children and their families by celebrating successes and communicating daily progress.
Help keep the classroom running smoothly by supporting daily routines, meals, and classroom organization. Promote a safe, positive environment by following licensing standards and best practices that put children's well-being first.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who loves helping children learn and grow and brings positive energy to everything they do.
