B&B Contracting Group is seeking a Licensed Commercial Transport/Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing company. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The job duties performed by the Commercial Transport/Heavy Duty Mechanic include but are not limited to: Performing regular repairs and maintenance on heavy, medium, and light-duty work trucks and trailers Inspect, troubleshoot, test, or repair of brake systems, suspension, engines, hydraulics, electrical, air conditioning, fuel systems, transmissions and driveline components QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Minimum of three years' prior work experience in the mechanical trade Experience with diesel engines Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem solving Must be able to work with minimal supervision Licensed Commercial Transport or Heavy Duty Mechanic Valid Drivers Licence – minimum Class 5 (preference for Class 1 or 3 with Air Brakes) Must have own tools COMPENSATION $35 - $43/hour dependent on experience and performance RRSP matching program Extended health group plan (medical, dental, vision coverage) ABOUT THE COMPANY B&B Contracting Group is a distinguished company with over 75 years of experience in civil construction.
