In your day-to-day, you will: Triage and monitor emergency and critically ill patients, escalating changes to the veterinary team Place IV catheters, draw blood, and administer medications and fluids under veterinary direction Induce, monitor, and maintain anesthesia and provide skilled nursing care for surgical and critical cases Perform diagnostics such as radiographs, laboratory samples, and patient assessments within the WA LVT scope of practice Perform accurate calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, and estimates Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture What You Bring Washington LVT license (or close to obtaining it) Foundational technical skills and an interest in developing advanced ER nursing skills Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and confidentiality Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations Eager to learn and grow, team-oriented, and collaborative A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care Perks & Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) matching Generous PTO CE support and career development opportunities Location Highlight Pasco sits along the Columbia River as part of Washington's Tri-Cities region, offering a sunny, mild climate and easy access to outdoor recreation, riverfront parks, and the area's growing wine country.
