Library Assistant - John H Dickerson Heritage Library

The County of Volusia is seeking a Library Assistant for the John H Dickerson Heritage  Library . This position will be assisting the public at the checkout desk, teaching library users how to use the self-checkout station, assisting with checking in materials, processing incoming new materials, managing patron reservations, as well as collection management in the stacks.

This position spends at least 50% of their time in direct service to library users at the public service desk, as a rover or as an ambassador. May assist with displays and programs as needed.
