FS/QA Technician

Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician in Desplaines! We operate in 33 locations, 12 countries and 3 Continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly – sometimes beyond our own expectations. Food Safety & Hygiene Responsibilities: Monitors CCP (critical control point) and temperature records; follows up or escalates as necessary.

Completes internal food safety audits and prepares samples for microbiological testing. Maintains quality assurance filing system. Investigates customer complaints and maintains and makes recommendations for improvement for the facility’s traceability system. Assists in internal and external audits. Facility Hygiene: Supports with pest control management and completes pest control audits.

Assists in monitoring and makes recommendations for improvement for the facilities cleaning schedule. Maintains records for facility hygiene. Maintains records for employee training and retains and track renewals for food safety certifications. Delivers food safety training as necessary.
