Activity Aide

Position – Activities Aide Location: East Troy Manor – East Troy, WI (On-site) Status: Full-Time | Part-time Schedule: Days | PM | - rotating weekends and holidays _________________________________________________________ Job Summary: Responsible to meet the social, spiritual, and therapeutic needs of the residents through activities, programming, and continued interaction with community groups.

Performs one on one interaction to enhance quality of life. Implements Plan of Care. Enable residents to maximize their potential in activity participation through adaption, clues/prompts and grading. Documents progress notes into Matrix. Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned. _________________________________________________________ Qualifications: Sixteen years of age Excellent communication skills Strong desire to work with the elderly Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations. Knowledgeable with planning, developing and implementing resident crafts. Well-developed organizational skills.
