Automotive Hourly Service Technician- KIA North- ICL Autos

KIA North, an International Cars, Ltd., Inc. Company,is looking for a _Full-Time_ Hourly Service Technician to join our team! Candidates with routine automotive service experience is encouraged to apply. The Hourly Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring repairs are completed to industry standards

Responsibilities:

• Performs work as outlined on work order in accordance with company standards.
• Exceeds manufacturer's national, zone, and district averages for customer satisfaction and work quality.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills with a customer focus and friendly attitude
• Flexible schedule to cover store hours
• Must have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record acceptable to ICL Insurance Company requirements
