Research Fellow (Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electronics Engineering)

The Continental-NTU Corp Lab is a strategic research collaboration between NTU and Continental, focusing on developing technically advanced solutions in the areas such as sustainable materials engineering, artificial intelligence, advanced communications and cybersecurity capabilities for future urban mobility applications.

We aim to develop innovative solutions that can be commercialized into products and services for Continental through close collaboration with its business units.

Key Responsibilities

To independently undertake research in artificial intelligence, machine learning system, edge computing. To produce research papers and reports as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community. To provide guidance and support to students associated with the project. To attend, contribute, and where necessary lead relevant meetings.

To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research. Job Requirements: PhD degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills Proven research ability as evidenced through a portfolio of publications and/or conference papers and/or patents.

In-depth knowledge relevant to the project domain. Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research. The ability and willingness to adapt and incorporate novel ideas and approaches in scientific industry. Demonstrated ability to formulate hypothesis and design effective experimental plans. Ability to design and implement new experimental methods.
