Multimedia Sales Account Executive

FOX 39 and WTVO are expanding our sales teams in Rockford, Ill. Come join the team with the fastest-growing news, more original content, and number one weather team in the region. This position isn’t for everybody. To be successful, you must fully embrace our consultative approach that uses a multi-media strategy to help our clients grow their business.

Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals. Establish credible relationships with local business community. Make sales calls on existing and prospective clients. Maintain assigned accounts and develop new accounts. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients. Explain to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.

Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media. Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placing advertising into station media. Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

& Skills : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. Minimum one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media field. Ability to hold meaningful conversations with decision makers Ability to CLOSE Demonstrates personal integrity to differentiate from the competition.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint & Outlook Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Pay Range
