IT Intern

Housing Visions is a Syracuse based nonprofit committed to Quality, Responsibility, Integrity and Compassion. Our IT team plays a vital role in supporting staff who work every day to strengthen communities. As an intern, you will be part of a team that values growth and contributions. You will be based out of our corporate office located at 1201 E.

Fayette St. Work schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm. The pay range is $17-$20 DOE.

What You'll Do

Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff across all offices. Help maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and A/V equipment. Assist with monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades of network infrastructure and software applications. Create new user accounts and configure required permissions and access rights.

Assist with hardware and software installations and office equipment setups. Help maintain the organization’s IT inventory records. Support the VOIP phone system, door access, and building security systems. Develop and deliver basic computer training materials and reference guides for staff. Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to the organization’s IT needs.
