Job description

Full service firm in the Mid-West looking to bring to their team a Mechanical Engineer ! This position has a focus on the Industrial, Power Plant and the refinery and mining markets. The types of projects range from power plants , heavy industrial and assembly /manufacturing facilities. ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES : -Responsible for complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes.

-Plans design work and assigns design duties to staff working on projects. -Opportunity for leadership in Corporate Technical Committees. -Acts as an advisor and develops the technical competence of less experienced staff. -Key role in project reviews for quality control for large complex projects. -Opportunity as lead engineer on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects.

-Provides technical assistance to help resolve field issues. Must be able to visit project sites.

  • Opportunity to serve as Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects. -Opportunity to identify prospective clients, assist in marketing to develop new clients, and prepares proposals for services. -Participates in presentations to clients and interviews for new clients.

REQUIREMENTS

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
