Catering Assistant

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our kitchen, based at our state-of-the art factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30. Salary for this position is £28,332. Driving licence is essential. Main responsibilities: Dealing with the replenishment of vending machines.

Ensuring stock levels are maintained for the vending machines by liaising with suppliers and regularly checking stock levels. Basic preparation , serving and handling of food in the canteen when required Keeping the workstation tidy, includes clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and good observation of cleanliness Being part of the cleaning rota on a weekly basis About You Desired Skills and Knowledge: Catering experience (essential) Good communication skills Customer service experience Ability to cover other members of staff due to holidays, sickness etc Interest and knowledge of food Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment Driving licence is essential About The Company At Wren we’re passionate about all things kitchens, and now bedrooms too!
