Wilmington Advisors @ M&T is seeking a Financial Advisor to serve clients throughout Catonsville and surrounding communities. This is an opportunity to leverage established branch partnerships, strong referral relationships, and the resources of a leading regional bank to build and grow your practice. You'll work closely with Retail Banking, Business Banking, and Wealth partners to identify opportunities, deepen client relationships, and deliver personalized investment and insurance solutions. Whether you're an experienced Financial Advisor or a licensed professional looking to expand your practice, you'll have the support, tools, and referral network needed to succeed.

What You'll Do

Build and grow a book of business through branch referrals, prospecting, community involvement, and relationship development Partner with retail branch teams across a defined territory to uncover investment and insurance opportunities Deliver personalized investment, retirement, and insurance strategies aligned to client goals Conduct financial reviews and recommend tailored solutions to help clients grow, protect, and transfer wealth Develop long-term client relationships through ongoing advice and service Collaborate with Business Banking and Wealth partners to provide comprehensive financial solutions What You Bring Proven ability to build relationships, develop business, and deliver exceptional client service Experience working in sales, financial services, banking, wealth management, or insurance environments Strong communication, networking, and relationship management skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while leveraging a broader team of partners Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals Education and Experience Required Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of sales, financial services, insurance, retail banking, relationship management, or business development experience OR In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience, including 2 years of sales, financial services, insurance, retail banking, relationship management, or business development experience Licenses Required FINRA Series 7 FINRA Series 63 and 65, or Series 66 Life and Variable Insurance License Why Join Wilmington Advisors @ M&T?
