The Opportunity At Alera Group, our Property & Casualty team partners with businesses to identify risks, protect assets, and deliver insurance solutions that support long-term success. As an Account Manager , you'll help build trusted client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and provide proactive guidance that helps clients confidently navigate an evolving risk landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of personal insurance clients Manage inbound calls, emails, policy changes, billing inquiries, coverage questions, and service requests Conduct account reviews and provide coverage recommendations based on client needs and risk management objectives Prepare new business proposals, insurance comparisons, and coverage solutions Assist clients with claims-related concerns and coordinate issue resolution with carrier partners Identify account rounding, cross-selling, and new business opportunities within existing client relationships Maintain accurate documentation and update agency management systems to ensure data integrity Lead or participate in client meetings while delivering exceptional service and consultative guidance QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Currently licensed or ability to obtain required insurance licensure Strong customer service experience in a client-facing environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build and maintain strong client and business relationships Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications College degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field Previous Personal Lines insurance experience Experience managing a book of business and conducting client reviews Professional insurance designation such as AAI, ARM, CIC, or similar credential Experience identifying cross-selling and account growth opportunities Leadership experience mentoring or supporting colleagues Experience working directly with carrier representatives and underwriters Ability to travel in support of office operations and client service initiatives Compensation Salary Range: $50,000–$60,000 annually Benefits Eligible colleagues enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage 401(k) Generous paid time off Professional development and career growth opportunities ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Work Arrangement This position is Hybrid .
