Are you passionate about Diagnostic Medical Sonography and mentoring future healthcare professionals? Southeastern College is seeking an experienced Lab Assistant to support students as they develop hands-on clinical skills in a dynamic learning environment.

In this role, you'll serve as a key resource in the lab, helping students build confidence, master essential techniques, and prepare for success in their careers. Working closely with faculty, you'll help bridge classroom learning with real-world application.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and support students during hands-on lab activities

• Monitor student progress and provide guidance on lab assignments

• Validate completion of lab competencies and skills

• Promote a safe, professional, and engaging learning environment

• Communicate student progress and opportunities for improvement to faculty

• Assist with student orientation and lab readiness

• Support the college's commitment to academic excellence and student success

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (or related healthcare program)

• Minimum of two years of field experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Current industry credential(s) required

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting student success
