The Recoiler/Exit assists operators with the operation of Slitter equipment to produce material to customer specifications. The primary responsibility is to assist the operator wherever needed, inspect material and discharge product as required. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Assist operator in configuring machine to proper dimensions for production.

Inspects finished material prior to packaging. Builds Exit Separators. Discharges final product from machine. Maintain a clean work environment by keeping work area free of trash and scrap. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic reading and writing comprehension in English (to read work order instructions, safety, and policy manuals). Ability to read a tape measure and calipers. Basic computer skills. Proficient in basic math skills and problem-solving skills. Solid communication skills. Ability to follow and give instructions. Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ability to work closely with others in a team environment Work authorization: United States (Required) Experience & Education: High school diploma or equivalent Prior metals experience preferred.

Compensation

Please note: Actual starting pay will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package at Coilplus, which also includes the opportunity to earn additional compensation through profit sharing and other performance-based reward programs.
