As an intern at Standard. Aero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence. Over the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to: Determine and document the modification of products being processed for repair or overhaul to verify compliance to the applicable regulatory and customer requirements.

What you’ll do : Create Shop Aids for Engine Maintenance procedures Participate in continuous improvement projects with engineers on Waterjet, Liburdi Welder, Plasma Systems and Vacuum Furnace repair processes Complete assigned projects related to the Engineering group/discipline Review and/or create drawings and sketches of tools and fixtures Perform engineering calculations, analyses, development of drawings and specifications Assist with Tooling-related projects (e.

g. New Tooling Fabrication, Tooling validation) Assist in repair process audits to ensure compliance to company processes and standards Other assigned duties Basic Qualifications Currently pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) CAD Software (AutoCAD or equivalent) Desired Skills Strong attention to detail, with interest in process improvement Problem solving skills Time management Technical writing
