• Join a Mission-Driven Organization What You’ll Do As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will: Ensure the safety and security of the facility Oversee the implementation of the clients’ schedule Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities Conduct effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees, document the content of such meetings, and provide feedback Implement progressive discipline when needed according to the applicable policy Write professional development plans in conjunction with employees to aid in their training and development Facilitate new employee on-the-job orientation Schedule employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met Conduct one “full facility” headcount each night Conduct fire drills during client sleeping hours, as needed Support the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care Demonstrate appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management techniques and skills Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: ✔ Compassionate ✔ Dependable ✔ Patient ✔ Team-Oriented ✔ Service-Focused ✔ Professional ✔ Positive ✔ Committed to Helping Others Qualifications Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree and one year work experience with children OR Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and three years work experience with children Other Qualifications: At least twenty-one (21) years of age Must have a valid Driver's License Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing. Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors. Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks, including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records. Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department. Schedule
