Substitute School Nurse

Ball-Chatham CUSD #5 NOW Hiring: Substitute School Nurses! Why should you substitute as a school nurse? When subbing across our district, you'll work with a diverse student body and supportive staff from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Substitute school nurses are an integral part of the Ball-Chatham community, ensuring our students receive exceptional care during instances of illness or injury so they can stay healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

This Role Is a Great Fit If You: Have strong clinical knowledge of medical disorders and treatments relevant to children and adolescents. Are familiar with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and privacy standards governing school health services. Possess a solid understanding of child growth and developmental stages.

Preferred Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Illinois. Bachelor's Degree (BSN preferred).
