Commercial Kitchen Service Technician — Hot & Cold Side We’re open to adding a skilled commercial kitchen technician with experience in both cooking equipment and refrigeration. This is a selective search focused on finding the right skills, work ethic, and long-term fit for our team. Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial cooking equipment, including ovens, ranges, fryers, griddles, and steamers. Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in and reach-in coolers and freezers, prep tables, and ice machines. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, gas, and refrigeration issues.

Perform preventive maintenance to support reliable equipment operation. Read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and manufacturer specifications. Verify proper equipment operation following service or repair. Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and parts needed. Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and fellow technicians.

Follow applicable safety procedures and proper refrigerant-handling practices.

Qualifications

Hands-on service experience with both hot-side and cold-side commercial kitchen equipment. Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to complete routine service calls independently. Working knowledge of electrical circuits, equipment controls, gas systems, and refrigeration principles. Ability to recognize when additional technical support is needed and work through unfamiliar issues.

EPA Section 608 certification appropriate to the equipment serviced; Universal preferred. Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Reliable follow-through, professional communication, and attention to quality workmanship. Manufacturer training and industry certifications are a plus.
