Responsibilities

Assist with landscape enhancements and improvements at residential properties, including planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and seasonal plant material. Prepare planting beds and lawns, including soil preparation, digging properly sized planting holes, mulching, edging, and installing sod or seed. Assist with landscape renovations, plant replacements, and other enhancement projects as directed by the Crew Leader.

Follow proper planting and horticultural practices to support plant health and long-term landscape performance. Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power equipment, and other landscaping equipment. Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained, fueled, and ready for daily use. Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites, vehicles, and equipment.

Participate in company training and follow established safety procedures. Work collaboratively with the Crew Leader and team members to complete projects efficiently and to Planted Earth's quality standards.

Qualifications

Entry-level candidates welcome! Previous experience in professional landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is a plus, but not required. Previous experience planting trees, shrubs, and other landscape materials is preferred but not required. Basic understanding of landscape installation techniques and equipment is a plus.

Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for gardening. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
