• Full-Time and Part-Time Overview Are you friendly, reliable and enthusiastic about delivering great customer service? Timberland is looking for Seasonal Sales Assistants to join our team, with full-time and part-time positions available. You’ll help customers find the right footwear, clothing and accessories while supporting the team during our busy seasonal period. Availability to work flexible shifts Monday to Friday is essential for both full-time and part-time positions. Contract Details Seasonal temporary contract Full-time and part-time positions available Flexible availability Monday to Friday is essential Reports to the Store Manager Key Responsibilities Customer Service and Sales Welcome every customer and provide friendly, helpful and attentive service. Ask questions to understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable products. Develop your knowledge of Timberland products to confidently advise on features, fit and product care. Recommend complementary items to help customers complete their purchase. Work towards individual and store sales targets while maintaining excellent service. Teamwork Work closely with management and colleagues to support the smooth running of the store. Communicate clearly, support teammates and contribute to a positive working environment. Show initiative and respond to changing priorities during busy periods. Till Operation Process sales, payments, refunds and exchanges accurately, following company procedures. Maintain care and accuracy when handling cash and operating the till. Store and Stockroom Standards Keep the shop floor, stockroom and staff areas clean, tidy and organised. Replenish stock and maintain high standards of product presentation. Ensure displays, pricing and promotional signage are accurate. Assist with receiving, checking, organising and storing deliveries. Follow company health and safety procedures. Security Remain aware of store security and follow loss prevention procedures. Report suspicious activity or stock discrepancies to management. Ensure products are tagged correctly where required. What We’re Looking For Reliable availability to work flexible shifts Monday to Friday throughout the seasonal contract. A friendly, approachable manner and clear communication skills. Enthusiasm for customer service, selling and the Timberland brand. A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative. Good attention to detail and organisational skills. Confidence working in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous retail or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential.
