Director of Facility Operations

Director of Facility Operations is accountable for all occupied space throughout the health system. S/He ensures that the buildings and systems of the assigned facilities are fully functioning. This position develops procedures and processes to ensure that maintenance, repair of equipment and/or systems construction activities are executed quickly, safely and correctly.

The position monitors expenditures, workloads and work schedules to ensure that requests for maintenance and repairs are completed per standard. The director plans, prepares and forecasts budgets, develops and implements process improvement plans, annual performance goals and objectives. The director ensures that the facilities meet and\or exceed all requirements set forth by the accrediting agencies of the hospital.
