Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous dental assisting experience and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Oral surgery experience is strongly preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance during oral surgery procedures Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control standards Take and process dental X-rays as permitted Review and update patient information and clinical documentation Prepare dental materials and surgical supplies Provide patients with preoperative and postoperative instructions Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical area Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, safety, and sanitation requirements Collaborate with clinical and front-office team members to support an efficient patient experience Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience required Oral surgery experience strongly preferred Current Texas dental assistant registration or ability to obtain it, as applicable Familiarity with dental instruments, equipment, and clinical procedures Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and patient-service skills Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively as part of a team Benefits Eligible full-time employees may receive: Competitive compensation Health insurance Paid time off Opportunities for professional growth and development If you are passionate about patient care and would like to grow your skills in an oral surgery setting, we encourage you to apply.
