Accountant

Develop and maintain production budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial limits. Monitor and record financial transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, and petty cash expenses. Analyze expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide budget adjustment recommendations. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including cash flow statements and cost reports.

Oversee contracts with vendors and process payments. Collaborate with the production team to create financial forecasts and assess risks. Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements and maintain proper documentation. Support effective communication regarding budgetary matters.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in production accounting or financial management, preferably in the entertainment industry. Strong understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control principles. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Solid organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices and regulations is a plus.
