Varsity Softball Assistant Coach

• BALTIMORE, MD, Salary Range: $2500.00 - $2500.00Salary, Roland Park Country School located in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Varsity Softball Assistant Coach. As a school committed to educating and supporting the growth and development of each student, RPCS fosters an environment where students thrive by lifting each other up and leading for the greater good. This is a part-time paid position that reports to the Director of Athletics and the Varsity Softball Head Coach. The Upper School spring sports season begins February 16 and runs through early May. Practices are held Monday-Friday, 4:00-6:00p.m. Competitions are also held on weekdays; times vary. A specific schedule can be provided to applicants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports and executes the vision for the softball program at RPCS as communicated by the Athletic Department and the Varsity Softball Head Coach. Fosters strong relationships with the athletes and inspires them to achieve their best. Implements proven coaching techniques and approaches that result in continued growth and success of the program.

Develops the skills of all of the student-athletes in ways that prepare them for competition performance. Works in coordination with the athletic administrative team on scheduling, game day prep, out of season workouts, uniforms, and facilities. A strong communicator with all constituencies. An enthusiastic supporter of all aspects of the RPCS community life including academics, arts and the entire athletic department.

Other reasonable duties as assigned from time to time by the Director of Athletics and/or the Varsity Softball Head Coach.

Compensation

Stipend : $2,500 for season Seasonal employee benefits include access to on-site fitness center and discounts at school store. Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE At least two years of athletic and/or competitive coaching experience in a high school, college, or professional setting. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Local travel may be required for games and other program-related activities
