CDL A Truck Driver - Local Nights

Now Hiring 2 Class A Local Night Truck Drivers! Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team working nights. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of on the job experience operating tractor trailer. As a Truck Driver with Marathon Mail Service, you will be responsible for transporting USPS mail safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws, company policies, and USPS regulations.

Schedule: 6 nights per week starting on Sunday nights at 11:30pm Pay per hour: $29.89 plus quarterly safety/performance bonus $2,000 hiring bonus (paid out quarterly throughout 1st year) + $2,000 Referral Bonus Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplementary Insurance Offerings 401k 10 days of PTO upon start Duties Operate tractor-trailer for transporting USPS mail between postal facilities.

Load and unload. Ensure the safe transport of goods by following designated routes and schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Operate Samsara software. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Ability to work nights. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. At least one (1) year of recent CDL A tractor trailer on the job, verifiable experience. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight. Strong knowledge of route driving within designated areas.

Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Must be able to pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
